At 122 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Eagle Lake, moving southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Presque Isle, Caribou, Fort Kent, Fort Fairfield, Limestone, Eagle Lake, Deboullie Mountain, Mapleton, Washburn, Mars Hill, Easton, Woodland, Portage Lake, New Canada, Cross Lake, Loring, Madawaska Lake, New Sweden, Wallagrass, and Chapman. This includes the following highways... US Highway 1 between Presque Isle and Caribou. State Highway 11 between Winterville and Wallagrass.
