Description: 
At 430 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles southeast of Eagle Lake to near Washburn. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Presque Isle, Caribou, Fort Fairfield, Limestone, Eagle Lake, Mapleton, Washburn, Mars Hill, Ashland, Easton, Woodland, Loring, Madawaska Lake, New Sweden, Chapman, Connor, Castle Hill, Perham, Caswell, and Wade. This includes US Highway 1 between Presque Isle and Caribou.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
