For the Tchefuncte River...including U.S. Highway 190 Near
Covington...Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Bogue Falaya...including Camp Covington, Boston St in
Covington...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Bogue Falaya River at Boston St in Covington.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, There will be more widespread flooding
around the grounds of the Christ Episcopal School and Bogue Falaya
River Park.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 10.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 4.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river has crested and is falling. It is forecast
to drop below flood stage early Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.4
feet on 04/10/2021.
