For the Tchefuncte River...including Folsom...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Tchefuncte River near Folsom. * WHEN...Until late Saturday night. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Louisiana Highway 40 will overflow the west bank by the bridge. Evacuation of the area around Spring Park and Albert Thompson roads should be complete. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is no longer expected to go above major flood stage.
