Description:
At 417 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms near Sterlington, or 11 miles north of Swartz, moving
south at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Monroe, Claiborne, West Monroe, Swartz, Sterlington, Deshard, Loch
Lomon, Fairbanks, Guthrie, Perryville, Spencer, Rocky Branch, Haile
and Linville.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
