At 637 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms extending from 27 miles east of Jena to over Montgomery, or extending from 32 miles southeast of Columbia to 14 miles east of Natchitoches, moving south at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Natchitoches, Jena, Colfax, Montgomery, Midway, Natchez, Pollock, Dry Prong, Georgetown, Williana, Lake Iatt, Bentley, Fishville, Aloha, Rochelle, Zenoria, Chopin, Rogers, Cloutierville and Nebo.
Instruction: 
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
