Description:
At 216 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Garyville, or 7 miles northwest of Reserve, moving
north at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Reserve, Laplace, Lutcher, French Settlement, Port Vincent,
Garyville, Whitehall, and Edgard.
This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 186 and
206.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
