Description:
At 218 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Arnaudville to Cecilia to near Lafayette.
Movement was northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Lafayette, Catahoula, Breaux Bridge, St. Martinville, Krotz Springs,
Leonville, Arnaudville, Broussard, Youngsville, Port Barre,
Henderson, Cade, Butte La Rose, Cecilia, Atchafalaya National
Wildlife Refuge, Atchafalaya Welcome Center, and Parks.
This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 105 and
126.
