At 713 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles east of Montgomery to 8 miles northwest of Kurthwood to 8 miles east of Hemphill. Movement was southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Alexandria, Leesville, Boyce, Anacoco, Lena, Slagle, Fort Polk, Ball, New Llano, Colfax, Hornbeck, Lacamp, Timber Trails, Hutton, Clifton, Flatwoods, Burr Ferry, Kurthwood, Sieper, and Simpson. This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 92 and 109.
