At 459 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Breaux Bridge, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Lafayette, Catahoula, Breaux Bridge, St. Martinville, Broussard,
Henderson, Butte La Rose, Cecilia, and Parks.
This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 102 and
115.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
