At 422 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Sorrento, or near Gonzales, moving northwest at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Gonzales, Sorrento, French Settlement, Port Vincent, Prairieville, and Geismar. This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 171 and 187.
