Description: 
At 159 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts over marine areas near Paradis, or near Hahnville. These storms were nearly stationary. HAZARD...Waterspouts, winds in excess of 40 mph, and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waters. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Hahnville, Paradis, Luling, Boutte, Destrehan, Taft, New Sarpy, St. Rose, Ama, Norco, Killona, Bayou Gauche, and Des Allemands. This includes Interstate 310 between mile markers 3 and 11.
