At 110 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Indian Lake, or near Ville Platte, moving northwest at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Ville Platte, Bunkie, Turkey Creek, Bayou Chicot, Whiteville, Indian Lake, Chicot State Park, and St. Landry. This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 36 and 54.
