Description:
At 1232 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Patterson Memorial Airport, or near Patterson, moving northwest at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Patterson, Bayou Vista, Baldwin, Ellerslie, Cote Blanche
Island, Patterson Memorial Airport, Glencoe, Charenton, and
Centerville.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
