At 816 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Forked Island, moving northwest at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Kaplan, Gueydan, Forked Island, Wright, and Lyons Point.
