At 908 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms capable of producing funnel clouds over Norco, or near Hahnville, moving north at 35 mph. HAZARD...Funnel clouds and winds in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...If a funnel cloud briefly touches down, minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Reserve, Hahnville, Laplace, Killona, Norco, Paradis, Montz, Edgard, Garyville, Boutte, Destrehan, Taft, New Sarpy, Luling, Wallace, Bayou Gauche, Des Allemands, and Killian. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 198 and 219. Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 14.
