Description:
At 514 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Kenner, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern St. Charles Parish.
This includes the following Interstates...
Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 218 and 221.
Interstate 310 near mile marker 1.
