* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible this afternoon and early evening. * WHERE...Portions of northern Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin and Kenton and Ohio, including the following counties, Clermont, Hamilton, Highland, Hocking and Ross. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms with heavy rainfall will be possible today. Localized rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches in a short period of time could lead to flash flooding.
