Description:
At 736 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Batavia to Crittenden, moving southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Covington, Independence, Erlanger, Edgewood, Alexandria, Elsmere,
Fort Mitchell, Highland Heights, Taylor Mill, Fort Wright,
Georgetown, Williamstown, Walton, Crestview Hills, Lakeside Park,
Claryville, Amelia, Wilder, Bethel, and New Richmond.
This includes I-75 in Kentucky near mile marker 185.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for
northern Kentucky...and southwestern Ohio.
