At 550 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Dawson Springs, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Dawson Springs, Nortonville, Crofton, and St. Charles. This includes the following highways... Interstate 69 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 89 and 103. Pennyrile Parkway between Mile Markers 15 and 32.
