Description:
At 444 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Blanche, or near Pineville, moving south at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Pineville, Wasioto, East Pineville, Blackmont, Balkan, Wallsend,
Black Snake, Miracle, Kettle Island, Straight Creek, Blanche, Arjay,
Callaway, Cary, Rella, and Clear Creek Springs.
THIS INCLUDES U.S. Highway 25 East in Bell County between mile
markers 11 and 16.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
