At 515 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Stanton, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Stanton, Clay City, Pilot, Torrent, Bowen, Rogers, Leeco, Slade, Pine Ridge, Waltersville, Patsey, Cobhill, Vaughns Mill, Rosslyn, Standing Rock, Knowlton, Rogers Chapel, Fitchburg, Koomer Ridge Campground, and Lombard. THIS INCLUDES Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway between mile markers 17 and 40.
