At 547 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Elmrock, or 7 miles northwest of Hindman, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Hindman, Bath, Wheelwright, Pippa Passes, Drew, Cody, Dry Creek, Raven, May, Mousie, Leburn, Pine Top, Carr Creek, Emmalena, Kite, Nealy, Bearville, Omaha, Burton, and Redfox. THIS INCLUDES Kentucky Highway 80 in Knott County between mile markers 2 and 17.
