Description:
At 451 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles north of
Harrodsburg to 14 miles northeast of Springfield. Movement was
southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Nicholasville, Harrodsburg, Ballard, Wilmore, Burgin, Oregon,
Bondville, Dugansville, Talmage, and Riverview Estates.
Instruction:
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
