At 519 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Harris Ferry, or 8 miles northeast of Richmond, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Clay City, Westbend, Powell Valley, Harris Ferry, Spout Springs, Kimbrell, Cressy, Hargett, Fox, Waltersville, Palmer, Wiseman Crossing Station, Virden, Vaughns Mill, Iron Mound, Vianna, and Sam. THIS INCLUDES Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway between mile markers 13 and 19.
