Description:
At 455 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Beech, or 12 miles south of Jackson, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Jackson, Buckhorn, Altro, Bush Branch, Hardshell, Copland, Lamont,
Shoal, Wolf Coal, Wilstacy, Beech, Frozen Creek, Dalesburg,
Quicksand, Chavies, Canoe, Buckhorn Lake S.P., Gentry, Elkatawa, and
Inverness.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
