Description: 
At 335 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Pembroke to 10 miles southeast of Cadiz. These storms were nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Hopkinsville, Oak Grove, Cadiz, Fort Campbell, Clarksville, Guthrie, Pembroke, Trenton, Lafayette, Hawkins, and Herndon. This includes the following highways... Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 58 and 92. Pennyrile Parkway between Mile Markers 1 and 15.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
