At 449 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Winifred, or near Blaine, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Kerz, Flatgap, Barnrock, Winifred, Sip, Stambaugh, Galen, Wittensville, Chandlerville, and Redbush. THIS INCLUDES U.S. Highway 23 in Johnson County between mile markers 9 and 10, and between mile markers 13 and 16.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
