At 432 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Dobson, or near Prestonsburg, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Paintsville, Prestonsburg, Endicott, Oaklawn Estates, East Point, Fitz, Wells Chapel, Lancer, Dobson, Meally, Collista, West Van Lear, Williamsport, Denver, Buffalo, Swamp Branch, Hagerhill, Auxier, Odds, and Dicks Creek. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS... Kentucky Highway 3 in Floyd County between mile markers 1 and 4. Kentucky Highway 3 in Johnson County Kentucky Highway 3 in Martin County near mile marker 1.
