Description:
At 308 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Sharkey to Ratlitt. Movement was east at
25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Morehead, Salt Lick, Cranston, Ramey, Yale, Moore's Ferry, Triplett,
Christy, Hilda, Sharkey, Cogswell, Zilpo, Pelfrey, Crix, Farmers,
Munson, Brandy, Bluestone, Young Springs, and Clearfield.
THIS INCLUDES Interstate 64 in eastern Kentucky between mile markers
128 and 146.
Instruction:

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
