Description:
At 245 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Oakley to near Cat Creek. Movement was east at
25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Owingsville, Frenchburg, Marshall, Jeffersonville, Camargo, Clay
City, Salt Lick, Clay Lick, Ramey, Wyoming, Cornwell, Peasticks,
Rothwell, Olympia Springs, Odessa, Bourbon Furnace, Hilda, Pebble,
Sharkey, and Fagan.
THIS INCLUDES Interstate 64 in eastern Kentucky between mile markers
115 and 135.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
