Description:
At 327 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Bloss, or 10 miles south of Mount Vernon, moving
east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Somerset, Mount Vernon, Science Hill, Sand Springs, Donaro, Robinet,
Bobtown, Wood Creek Lake, Pongo, Woodstock, Horse Lick, Lamero, Wabp,
Hansford, Dabney, Valley Oak, Willailla, Mershons, Hazel Patch, and
Pine Hill.
THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile markers 44 and
60.
Kentucky Highway 80 in Pulaski County between mile markers 18 and
38.
Louis B. Nunn Parkway
