Description:
At 227 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Oggs Station, or 7 miles southeast of Mount Sterling, moving
northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mount Sterling, Frenchburg, Marshall, Jeffersonville, Camargo, Salt
Lick, Clay Lick, Preston, Walkers Crossing, Olympia Springs, Yale,
Cedar Groves, Moore's Ferry, Coons Station, Bean, Bourbon Furnace,
Gatewoods Station, Crooks, Ratlitt, and Polksville.
THIS INCLUDES Interstate 64 in eastern Kentucky between mile markers
126 and 131.
