At 909 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Glencairn to Banford to Renfro Valley. Movement was southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Mount Vernon, Jackson, Beattyville, McKee, Booneville, Fincastle, Turin, Donaro, Travellers Rest, Bummer, Southfork, Cowcreek, Shop Branch, Tyner, Privett, Earnestville, Noctor, Mershons, Shepherdtown, and Cruise. THIS INCLUDES Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile markers 61 and 64.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM EDT for southeastern and east central Kentucky.
