At 614 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Levee to 8 miles southeast of Nicholasville. Movement was southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Stanton, Irvine, Frenchburg, Jeffersonville, Clay City, Ravenna, Wellington, Campsites in the Indian Creek area of the Daniel Boone National Forrest, Levee, Bowen, Kimbrell, Rice Station, Kings Station, Fagan, Calloway Crossing, Wiseman Crossing Station, Virden, Winston, Wisemantown, and Vaughns Mill. THIS INCLUDES Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway between mile markers 12 and 33.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM EDT for east central Kentucky.
