* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of central and south central Kentucky, including the following counties, in central Kentucky, Grayson, Green, Hart, Ohio and Taylor. In south central Kentucky, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Logan and Warren. * WHEN...Until 545 PM CDT /645 PM EDT/ Thursday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1144 AM CDT /1244 PM EDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.1 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bowling Green, Glasgow, Russellville, Morgantown, Greensburg, Munfordville, Brownsville, Plum Springs, Mount Victor and Crestmoor. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
