Fourmile Creek at Des Moines Easton Blvd affecting Polk County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...The Fourmile Creek at Des Moines Easton Blvd, or from below Interstate 80 to the Des Moines River. * WHEN...From late tonight to early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Widespread flooding occurs along the reaches of the creek primarily upstream from Easton Blvd near the Hubbell overpass. Water affects lowland areas of the community center near Easton Blvd. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 5.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 14.1 feet late tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
