* WHAT...Heat index values up to around 100 degrees.
* WHERE...Butler, Cerro Gordo, Franklin, Hancock, Worth, Wright, and
Bremer Counties.
* WHEN...Until 10 PM CDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The Extreme Heat Warning has been converted
to a Heat Advisory for the affected counties given recent trends
in lowering temperatures in these areas due to lingering clouds
and the possibility of lingering morning showers and thunderstorms.
Instruction:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
