Description: 
The Indiana Department of Environmental Management has issued an Air Quality Action Day for high levels of Fine Particles PM 2.5 in the air for the following Southwest Indiana counties, Vanderburgh, Posey, Warrick, Spencer, Gibson, and Pike. This alert is IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS EVENING. Due to observed and forecasted high concentration of PM 2.5 readings in the area, the public is recommended to avoid or limit outdoor exposure to wildfire smoke, reduce or avoid exertion or heavy work outdoors and keep windows and doors closed as much as possible.
