...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... White River at Elliston, Edwardsport, Newberry and Petersburg. .Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 4 inches across much of the area is bringing minor lowland flooding to middle and lower portions of the White River basin. The White should crest at Elliston this afternoon and at Petersburg by Monday morning. Flooding may be lengthened or redevelop early in the week from moderate to heavy rainfall that is expected Sunday into Monday which is not included in the current forecasts. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Elliston. * WHEN...Until late Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Eastern portion of CR 100 S in Greene County floods leading to Plummer. Flooding covers all low bottomlands. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.7 feet this evening.
