...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... Illinois... Wabash River from Lafayette to Riverton. Wildcat Creek near Lafayette. .Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 4 inches across much of the area is bringing minor lowland flooding to most of the Wabash River basin. The Wabash should crest by Friday morning at Lafayette and Terre Haute on Saturday. Flooding may redevelop on the upper Wabash or be extended at downriver points by moderate to heavy rainfall that is expected Sunday into Monday which is not included in the current forecasts. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wildcat Creek near Lafayette. * WHEN...From late tonight to tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Flooding of lowland areas in progress in portions of Tippecanoe County. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 9.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.0 feet just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
