Description:
At 601 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding through
Ripley county, with high rushing water south of 400 East near U.S.
50. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts
will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Versailles, Milan, Osgood, Dillsboro, Shawnee, Moores Hill,

Lake, Olean, Mount Sinai and Benham.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
