Description:
At 221 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Wakarusa, or near Goshen, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Elkhart, Goshen, Ligonier, Syracuse, Dunlap, Wakarusa, Topeka,
Millersburg, New Paris, Benton, Southwest, Foraker, Lake Wawasee,
Oakwood Park, and Waterford Mills.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
north central and northeastern Indiana.
