Description:
At 548 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles northeast of Rockville, or 14 miles southwest of
Crawfordsville, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Crawfordsville, Ladoga, Roachdale, Bainbridge, New Market, Waveland,
Russellville, and Carpentersville.
This includes Interstate 74 between mile markers 40 and 45.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
west central Indiana.
