Description:
At 1048 PM EDT/948 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from La Crosse to near Kouts.
Movement was southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
North Judson, Francesville, Medaryville, La Crosse, Ripley, Lomax,
Beardstown, English Lake, Denham, Toto, Clarks, Winona, Bass Lake,
San Pierre, and Ora.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
