Description:
At 356 PM EDT/256 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a
line extending from Minor Lane Heights to 6 miles south of
Brandenburg, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Louisville, Shively, Shepherdsville, Brandenburg, Pioneer Village,
Audubon Park, Watterson Park, Lynnview, Parkway Village, and
Hollyvilla.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
