* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southern Switzerland County in southeastern Indiana... Eastern Carroll County in northern Kentucky... Gallatin County in northern Kentucky... Northwestern Grant County in northern Kentucky... North Central Owen County in northern Kentucky... * WHEN...Until 630 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 333 PM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall of 0.5 to 1 inch is expected over the area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Vevay, Warsaw, Florence, Kentucky Speedway, Pleasant, Glencoe, Ghent, Sparta, Ethridge, US Route 42 at State Route 184, Markland, Interstate 71 at US Route 127, Egypt Bottom, Center Square, Jacksonville, Napoleon, Mount Sterling, Eagle Hill, Elliston and Moorefield.
