Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana, including the following
county, Perry and central Kentucky, including the following
counties, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Hancock, Hardin, Larue, Marion,
Meade, Mercer, Nelson, Ohio and Washington.
* WHEN...Until 445 AM CDT /545 AM EDT/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 226 AM CDT /326 AM EDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and
4 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.3 to 0.8 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Elizabethtown, Bardstown, Tell City, Lebanon, Springfield,
Hardinsburg, Hawesville, Radcliff, Webster and Vine Grove.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
