Southeastern Effingham County in south central Illinois... * Until 1145 PM CDT. * At 1039 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bible Grove, or 14 miles north of Flora, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southern Jasper, northern Richland, northern Clay and southeastern Effingham Counties, including the following locations... Wakefield, Wendelin, Dundas, Ingraham, Iola, Hord, West Liberty, and Claremont. This also includes Newton Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area.
