At 406 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Helm to near Mount Vernon to near Sesser. Movement was east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Mount Vernon, Rend Lake Area, Wayne City, Bluford, Ina, Dahlgren, Waltonville, Bonnie, Belle Rive, Nason, and Keenes. This includes the following highways... Interstate 57 in Illinois between Mile Markers 81 and 97. Interstate 64 in Illinois between Mile Markers 73 and 96.
